Networking Round Tables

We are trying something new at our meeting this month. From 6:30 to 7:00, we are offering a number of Networking Roundtables in addition to the usual ad hoc networking and refreshments. To help you understand this part of the program, here are a few things you might want to think about:

  • Do you ever feel alone?
  • Do you think you are the only person who is facing challenges related to implementing process improvements?

The networking round tables might help you! The goal is to:

  • Share experiences on particular topics
  • Hear what others have done to solve problems
  • Ask questions
  • Answer questions
  • Learn what, why, and how people in similar situations have done
  • Learn what has worked and what has not worked
  • Network more effectively

The round table topics for October include:

  • Metrics
  • Risk Management
  • Problem Tracking Systems
  • Starting Up Peer Reviews
  • Process Models for Object Oriented Software Development.

If there are any other topics you would like to discuss with fellow SPIN members, please contact Barb Purchia (bpurchia@kronos.com).

In response to this problem, IntraNetics offers a practical solution-the first ready to go "Intranet-in-a-box" that allows companies to get their Intranet up and running immediately, with no programming and at a fraction of the cost of custom intranets. A challenging position exists at IntraNetics for a Quality Engineer.
