Transitioning to Scrum: The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat

In this talk, I will share my personal experience introducing Scrum at several companies. I will show hard data from teams which are transitioning to Scrum and will describe the highs and lows of Scrum transitions by using interactive exercises.

About the Speaker

Michael de la Maza

Michael de la Maza is an agile coach and trainer whose clients include Carbonite, Intuit, EMC, and Verizon Wireless. He is the Agile Practice Lead at Knowledge United, and developed the nineteen course KnowAgile curriculum which is taught throughout the country. Prior to becoming an agile coach, Michael was VP of Corporate Strategy at Softricity, co-founded Answerfriend (now Inquira), and was a member of the technical staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.
